2. Categories of Personal Data Collected

We process only such personal data as is necessary for lawful, transparent, and explicit purposes:

  • Identity & Account Telemetry: Full name, official email address, mobile phone number, WhatsApp contact, encrypted password hashes, and profile photographs.
  • Student Wellness Questionnaire (Voluntary): Optional health indications (such as chronic lumbar pain, cervical tension, hypertension, or trimester stage in prenatal yoga) provided voluntarily to enable teachers to suggest therapeutic asana modifications.
  • Teacher Accreditation & KYC: Permanent Account Number (PAN), Indian bank account details (for Cashfree Easy Split payouts), Aadhaar validation records, Ayush Ministry / Yoga Alliance certifications, and academic degrees.
  • Billing & Transaction Information: Payer name, billing email, state of residence, and payment gateway transaction IDs for digital receipt generation.
  • Technical & Session Data: IP address, browser headers, Google Meet attendance timestamps, and device identifiers collected to prevent unauthorized multi-device stream sharing.

3. Student & Teacher Privacy Shield

To maintain community safety and sacred privacy, Yog Connectify enforces strict contact masking:

  • Masked Rosters: Teachers see only your display first name and class attendance status. Your private phone number and personal email address are never exposed to instructors or fellow students.
  • No Unauthorized WhatsApp Groups: Batches do not rely on public, unmonitored group chats where personal phone numbers are visible to strangers. All session links and schedule updates are sent through automated system channels.
  • Live Video Feeds Policy: 2-way camera feeds on Google Meet are real-time and ephemeral, used exclusively by the Acharya to observe spinal alignment and offer posture feedback. Yog Connectify does not monetize, sell, or publicly broadcast student camera feeds.

4. Third-Party Processors & Data Transfers

We do not sell personal data to data brokers or advertising networks. We share data only with authorized service providers under strict confidentiality agreements:

  • Payment Aggregators (Cashfree & Razorpay): Authorized by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Card and UPI details are processed on PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant tokenized servers; Yog Connectify never stores raw CVVs or banking passwords.
  • Video Infrastructure (Google LLC): Google Meet and Google Calendar APIs are utilized to create and gate access to live cohort video classrooms.
  • Communication Relays (Meta & AWS SES): WhatsApp Business Cloud API (Meta Platforms Inc.) and transactional email relays (Amazon SES / SendGrid) to deliver OTPs, batch schedules, and digital payment receipts.
