Yoga asanas, dynamic vinyasa transitions, bandha locks, and intense pranayama breathwork involve physical exertion. Yog Connectify is an educational intermediary marketplace, not a medical or healthcare clinic.
You must consult a registered medical practitioner (MBBS/MD) before participating in any class, especially if you have pre-existing cardiovascular conditions, spinal injuries (such as disc herniation), hypertension, eye disorders (for inversions), or are pregnant. Practice is voluntary and entirely at your own physical discretion.
1. Electronic Contract & Acceptance
This document is an electronic record published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
By clicking "Sign Up", "Enroll", "Authorize Payment", or by accessing yogaconnectify.com, you generate a legally binding electronic contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 between yourself ("Student" or "Teacher") and Yog Connectify India. If you do not agree with any provision, you must discontinue platform use immediately.
2. Intermediary Marketplace Role
Yog Connectify operates as an online digital marketplace platform under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- Independent Instructors: Teachers hosting batches on the platform are independent accredited professionals and not salaried employees, agents, or joint-venture partners of Yog Connectify.
- Technology & Aggregation: Our role is limited to providing the digital discovery directory, scheduling engine, automated Google Meet classroom links, payment facilitation (via RBI-licensed aggregators), and statutory tax reporting.
- Teacher Verification: While we conduct KYC checks (PAN, identity, and teaching credentials), students are advised to exercise personal judgement regarding individual training intensity.
3. Student Camera & Classroom Conduct
To preserve the sacred discipline of the digital Gurukula, students agree to adhere to the following code of conduct during live sessions:
- Appropriate Modest Attire: Practitioners must wear comfortable, appropriate yoga attire suited for camera-enabled classes.
- Strict Prohibition on Screen Recording: Recording, screenshotting, or photographing fellow practitioners on Google Meet without their express written consent is strictly prohibited under Section 66E of the IT Act, 2000 (violation of privacy) and warrants immediate account termination without refund.
- One Student Per Account: Subscription passes and Google Meet credentials are non-transferable and may not be broadcast in multi-user public commercial gyms or shared across multiple households.
4. Subscription Passes, Billing & Digital Receipts
Enrollments on Yog Connectify are structured as recurring or one-time monthly class passes (e.g. 4 Sessions, 8 Sessions, or Unlimited Monthly Practice):
- All-Inclusive Transparent Pricing: All subscription fees listed on Yog Connectify are 100% all-inclusive with zero surprise fees. As an emerging digital wellness platform currently operating below compulsory registration thresholds under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, no additional GST is charged or collected.
- Digital Payment Receipts: Students receive an official computer-generated digital payment receipt immediately upon successful transaction for employer wellness reimbursement and personal accounting.
- Instructor 85/15 Revenue Split: Teacher payouts are calculated on gross collections and disbursed via automated Cashfree Easy Split banking rails.
5. Cohort Continuity & 48-Hour Pre-Batch Cancellation
In alignment with authentic Yogic discipline (**Sādhana**) and teacher livelihood security:
- 48-Hour Full Refund Guarantee: You may cancel any monthly enrollment up to 48 hours (2 days) prior to the scheduled batch start date for a 100% full refund credited to your original payment mode within 5-7 business banking days.
- Consecutive Monthly Cohorts: Once a batch commences, your seat is reserved exclusively for the month. Subscriptions run consecutively without mid-term pause or pro-rata refunds.
- Makeup Sessions: Students missing an individual session can join alternative parallel batch slots hosted by their teacher within that calendar month.
6. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection
The trademark "Yog Connectify", the sunset infinity insignia, platform code, user interface designs, curriculum methodologies, and multimedia assets are the proprietary intellectual property of Yog Connectify India. Unauthorized reproduction, web scraping, reverse engineering, or commercial white-labeling is strictly actionable under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and Trade Marks Act, 1999.
7. Limitation of Liability & Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, Yog Connectify India, its founders, directors, and technology providers shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential bodily injuries, muscle sprains, or health complications arising from student participation in home yoga practices.
The student agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Yog Connectify and its partner teachers against any claims, losses, or legal costs arising from the student's violation of these terms or misuse of the platform.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to platform usage, the parties shall first attempt amicable settlement. Failing which, the Courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India shall possess exclusive territorial jurisdiction.
